ProCamera. Manual RAW Capture App Reviews

Best camera app

Ive tried most of the camera apps Ive heard of and deleted just about all of them for reasons ranging from limited features, through non-intuitive interfaces and a lack of documentation, through annoyingly cute interfaces. ProCamera 8 is a keeper. I liked version 7 for its clean interface (fit and finish *are* important) and its ability to save pics as TIFFs, enabling lossless editing later. With the addition of virtually full manual control and HDR, version 8 is the best camera app available, as far as Im concerned. Add lots of customizable settings and an extensive, well-designed manual and its hard to fault this app.

Read The Fine Print

This developer isnt happy developing a nice app there more interested in bleeding you for every penny. I bought this app and the first thing I shoot is HDR and than it tells me I have to pay an additional $1.99 to remove the watermark. Why is it that the built In camera app app has HDR AND NO CHARGE. Save your money and dont support these money hungry robbers.

Top of its class

My first choice for most photography projects. Full-featured, responsive, and yet uncluttered. Regularly updated. Powerful but still convivial.

very fast customer service

I had complaint about the camera focus problem. Sometimes the focus doesnt focus. Got the very fast reply from customer service saying that they will update the app soon :) and fix the problem

My Favourite

This my favourite iOS camera and I have tried them all.

Most useful camera app.

This the one camera app I use most often. From since I have a 4s to 6 plus now!

Regarding flash

How do I access the flash on the camera? I dont see the icon or ability to turn it on? It appears on the video, but not the camera.

Awesome

60fps camera capabilities (depending on device), smooth recording, stablization-EVERYTHING you could possibly need to shoot photos or video.

No more slow mo?

I have an iPhone 5s which is capable of filming at 120fps for slow mo. With this recent app update the highest frame rate now available is 48fps?!?! What happened there guys? Lets hope you update soon to fix that.

Latest update no camera roll access

With the latest update the app crashes when trying to access camera roll.

This is the camera app you are looking for

With an iPhone 6 Plus, the replaces and exceeds my old SLR, video/film, and editing suite. You would need several thousand dollars to purchase any marginal increase in quality, negated as soon as Apple admits their phones can record at 4k and, most important, the best camera is the one you have with you. This app means this isnt just by default.

Great

So far very impressed, easy to use and great quality pictures.

ProCamera

Fine program. Gives a pro like me options for control of focus and exposure. Especially like the active histogram. Im satisfied and recommend it especially to those who understand the science of photography.

Great app for serious photographers

If you are a serious photographer - someone who processes their pictures in Lightroom or similar programs on a PC or Mac - this app is for you. Why? TIFF file format. I got ProCamera 8 long ago since it was one of the first apps to offer tiff file format option. Need to fix white balance in post processing? No problem. Now they offer HDR. I cant wait to see if there is less noise in the shadow details... Yes, tiff files are relatively large and you will not want to keep your tiff files on your iphone. But having a tiff file when you whip out your iphone for that special photo is awesome.

Best App Ever

Really great app. One of the best and more useful Ive ever bought. Infinite possibilities. Very professional results.

Love this App

Use this app to edit my pics. Great outcome every time!

My go-to camera

Ive been using Pro-Camera for a couple of years and love it.

Great camera

This company does not just sit there riding on its laurels, of which there are plenty, it keeps improving and improving. My photos are so much better since the last several updates, l didnt think it possible with the iPad. Why go to any other camera!

Essential

In less than a week, this app has become on of my most used daily. Nice features easy to work with cant wait to see what the developper will come up with... Like a way to save in .TIFF format.

Great photo app, lots of latitude

The possibilities with Procamera seem infinite. It is as well adapted for the novice photographer who does not wish to bother with complex settings as for the more experienced photographer who wishes to experiment with different features. I am still exploring the different features but it seems to have a lot of potential.
